Kilgore College Addiction Conference
Dr. Crystal Collier presented as the keynote on the Neuroscience & Genetics of Addiction of High-Risk Behavior at Kilgore College’s 2022 conference.
Region 17 Conference
Dr. Collier was the keynote at the 2022 Region 17 Education Center’s Mental Health Conference in Lubbock and spoke about the tools in her book, The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide.
Outstanding Research Award
In 2019, Dr. Crystal Collier was given an Outstanding Research Award from the Association of Alternative Peer Groups for her and her colleagues research in APGs.
In 2018, Dr. Crystal Collier was awarded a Research Fellowship from The Hope and Healing Center and Institute to support her in the writing of The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide.
Torch Bearer of the Year Award
In 2018, Dr. Crystal Collier was awarded the Torch Bearer of the Year Award from the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals for her work in prevention of high-risk behavior.
Prevention and Education Commendation
In 2015, Dr. Crystal Collier was given a Prevention and Education Commendation from the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence for creating a prevention program model that teaches the neurodevelopmental effects of high-risk behavior to youth.
Counselor of the Year
The Houston Counseling Association has awarded Dr. Crystal Collier with the Counselor of the Year Award for her outstanding work with clients and the community.
